About Us!
The Sewing Basket was founded in 1998 by two sisters, D'Aun and Kerri.. D'Aun and her family had recently moved to Clovis and Kerri's family was looking for a reason to come back home. After a lot of thought and prayer, the sisters combined resources and a family dream came true. What an incredible time it has been!
The Sewing Basket is an authorized Bernina dealer and service center. Bernina dealers are not allowed to sell or quote prices on any Bernina, Bernette or any product sold by Bernina of America on the Internet. We do offer full service on every machine we sell and many other manufacturers' models. We also provide in-store scissor sharpening.
Our selection of Fashion fabrics changes frequently. Consisting primarily of designer end-cuts, product offerings are limited in quantity and availability. Please visit our store often as we continuously update our inventory.
We offer a full schedule of Bernina machine mastery classes for owners of new machines purchased from The Sewing Basket. We also teach sewing classes including special techniques, projects and products. One of our most popular classes has been Camp Sew Fun for our young sewers.
